Track & Field: Long Jump Technique
Long jump technique by phases: approach run, takeoff, flight and landing in the sand pit.
How to play
- Standing takeoff: push off one leg and land on two feet in the pit.
- 5–7-step approach with a takeoff in a wide zone (no need to hit the board).
- Work on the flight: free knee up and arms driving the jump.
- Land with the heels reaching forward and the body leaning forward so you don't fall back.
- Full jumps measured from the takeoff point.
Rules
- Rake the pit before each jump.
- Wait until the pit is clear.
- Nobody crosses the runway.

Harder
