Fair Play or Not? Wrestling Cases on the Move
The teacher reads real situations from wrestling games and students walk to the "fair," "not fair" or "depends" zone. They reflect on ethics and getting along while heart rate comes down.

How to play
- Mark three zones with cones; the whole group walks slowly around the space (1 min).
- The teacher reads a case, like "I keep squeezing a second after the tap"; everyone walks to a zone and one person per zone explains why (3 min).
- Two more cases, such as "I let my friend win" or "I laugh at someone who taps out," same format (2 min).
- A final case invented by students and a wrap-up with the idea that came up most (2 min).
Rules
- Walk, don't run, between cases.
- Every opinion is heard without mocking.
- Talk about what happened, never who did it.
Variations
Easier
Only two zones: fair and not fair.
Standard
Three zones with explanations.
Harder
Whoever explains must persuade someone from another zone to switch.
Adaptations
- Blind or low-vision students: a classmate walks with them arm in arm and zones are named by their location in the room.
- Wheelchair users: zones close together and a clear floor.
- Shy students: may explain their choice to a partner instead of the group.
Learning goals
- Judge fair-play actions in wrestling.
- Argue an opinion respectfully.
- Wind down after the session.
Equipment for a class of 25
- cones: 3
- case cards: 8
Teacher tip
Use cases you saw in that day's session, with no names. Have about eight ready so you can choose based on time.
