Virginia Physical Education Standards

Virginia K–12 Physical Education follows the Virginia Standards of Learning for Physical Education (PE SOL). PatioLab maps every activity in its library to these standards so you can track coverage by class throughout the school year.

PE requirement in Virginia: PE is required K–12. Elementary: 150 minutes/week. High school: 2 PE credits required for graduation, including a course emphasizing fitness and healthy lifestyles.
