Texas Physical Education Standards

Texas K–12 Physical Education follows the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Physical Education. PatioLab maps every activity in its library to these standards so you can track coverage by class throughout the school year.

PE requirement in Texas: PE is required every year K–12. Elementary: 30 minutes/day or 135 minutes/week. Middle & High: 1 PE credit required for graduation.
