By accessing or using PatioLab at patiolab.us or usepatiolab.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and HAGENT & BUSINESS WORLD SL ("PatioLab," "we," "us," or "our").
PatioLab is a web-based lesson-planning tool for Physical Education teachers in K–12 schools. It includes a session editor, an activity library tagged with SHAPE America National PE Standards, a live class timer, and a tournament planner. The Service is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) accessible via a web browser.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of forming a binding contract to use PatioLab. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements. PatioLab is intended for professional use by educators and school staff — it is not directed at students or minors.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hola@patiolab.app if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
PatioLab offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Subscription fees are charged in US Dollars (USD) and are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; you retain access through the end of the paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except as required by applicable law or as described in our Refund Policy.
New accounts receive a free trial of the Pro plan. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, your account reverts to the free tier unless you subscribe. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.

PatioLab references the SHAPE America National Physical Education Standards as a framework for tagging and organizing activities. PatioLab is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially certified by SHAPE America (Society of Health and Physical Educators). Standard tags are provided for teachers' reference and planning convenience. Compliance with district or state PE standards remains the teacher's and institution's responsibility.
References to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and state Physical Education standards are provided for informational purposes only. PatioLab does not guarantee alignment with any specific state or district curriculum framework. Teachers are responsible for verifying that their lesson plans meet applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
All content provided by PatioLab — including the software, activity library, design, and documentation — is the property of HAGENT & BUSINESS WORLD SL and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal professional use as a teacher.
Content you create within PatioLab (lesson plans, custom activities, class groups) remains yours. By storing it on our servers, you grant us a limited license to process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HAGENT & BUSINESS WORLD SL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and, to the extent applicable to consumer protection matters, the laws of the state in which you reside. For US-based users, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 30 days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
