The Ribbon Maze
Ribbon maze: students move through a maze of colored ribbons tied between cones, going over, under or around depending on the color.
How to play
- Tie ribbons between cones at different heights to make a 10 × 10 m maze.
- Explain the code: red = go under, blue = jump over, yellow = pass sideways without touching.
- Groups of four go through the maze from one end to the other.
- In the second round, change the code or the direction.
Rules
- Touching a ribbon means two steps back.
- No more than four students inside at once.
- Pass others only in wide areas.
Variations
Easier

Standard
Three colors and free route.
Harder

Adaptations
- Limited mobility: adapted lane with side ribbons only.
- Comprehension difficulties: visual color-code card at the entrance.
Learning goals
- Develop coordination, balance and spatial awareness.
- Link visual cues to motor responses.
