Letter race: students run to collect letter cards spread around the playground to spell words called by the teacher.
How to play
- Scatter letter cards around the playground (extra vowels).
- Make teams of four, each with a home base.
- Call a short word; each team member runs to fetch one letter and brings it back.
- The first team to spell the word in order scores.
Rules
- Carry only one letter per trip.
- Return letters after each word.
- No hiding or covering letters.
