Tournament Bracket Generator for PE and Field Day
Make a single-elimination bracket or a round-robin league for 2 to 32 teams. Enter the scores and winners advance automatically, with byes handled for you. Free and no sign-up.
How PE teachers use it
- Single elimination is fastest: with 8 teams you need 7 games.
- Round robin keeps everyone playing: with 6 teams it is 15 games.
- If the number of teams is not 4, 8, 16 or 32, the top teams get a bye in round one.
- Print the bracket and post it on the gym wall, or keep it open on your phone.

Frequently asked questions
How are byes handled?
The bracket grows to the next power of two (4, 8, 16, 32). The first teams in your list get a bye and go straight to round two, and two byes never meet each other.
What happens if I change a score?
The new winner moves on and any later games that depended on the old result are cleared, so the bracket never shows an impossible path.
How are round-robin standings calculated?
Three points for a win and one for a tie. Ties in the table are broken by point difference and then by points scored.
